Ingredients:
- 1 sheet of chilled puff pastry
- 125 g crème fraîche
- 1 tsp paprika
- 6 slices of bacon
- 3 eggs
- Tête de Moine AOP
- Fresh chives
- Salt and pepper
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (forced-air) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the sheet of puff pastry on the baking tray.
- Mix the crème fraîche with the paprika and spread over the puff pastry.
- Arrange the slices of bacon over the dough and bake in the middle of the oven for 15 minutes.
- Break the eggs over the tart and return the baking tray to the oven for 10 minutes.
- Make some attractive curls from the Tête de Moine AOP and dot over the tart as soon as it comes out of the oven.
- Sprinkle with fresh chives, salt and pepper and serve immediately.
Tart for breakfast, but with a twist: the tart combines the best of both worlds. A deliciously simple dish with all the ingredients of a ‘normal’ breakfast, but cooked in the oven.
