Pears:
- 2 pears (Doyenne du Comice)
- 1 knob of butter
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
Salad:
- 100 g mixed salad leaves
- 100 g lamb’s lettuce
- 40 g walnut granola
- Cubes of Appenzeller® Gold Label as desired
Dressing:
- 1/2 tablespoon honey
- 1 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 tablespoon mirin
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
Preparation:
- Take a pan and put it on medium heat with a knob of butter.
- Cut the pears into four and place them in the hot pan.
- Add a tablespoon of dark soya sauce while they are frying.
- The pears are ready when they are golden brown on each side.
- Take a small mixing bowl and add the dressing ingredients.
- Mix with a small whisk until you obtain your creamy dressing.
- Put the mixed salad leaves, lamb’s lettuce, granola and Appenzeller® Gold Label cubes into a salad bowl.
- Mix everything together
- Arrange the pears on the salad and drizzle with the dressing.
The perfect brunch salad. An ideal dish when you don’t know whether you feel like something savoury or sweet – your last dance before lunch.
