Salad with melon and Tête de Moine

Ingredients:

  • ¼ melon (Galia)
  • 1 red onion
  • 100 g cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cucumber
  • Pepper and salt
  • 20 g basil
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Slice of French stick
  • Tête de Moine

Preparation:

  1. Cut the melon and cucumber into cubes. Halve the cherry tomatoes and chop the onion finely. Put everything in a mixing bowl, season with salt and pepper, add the olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  2. Cut the bread into pieces and fry briefly in some olive oil. Add to the salad. Leave to stand for half an hour to an hour so that all the flavours are released. Stir in some fresh basil leaves.
  3. Garnish with thin slices of Tête de Moine

A combination of fresh salad ingredients and fruit, all topped with a delicious cheese. So, you see melon doesn’t just go well with ham, pairing with the right cheese also brings out the flavour of this delicious fruit to perfection. With this breakfast, you get a great dose of fruit and vitamins.
