Systrarna Eisenman
Lisa and Monica Eisenman are sisters who have with a genuine passion for eating food, cooking food, talking about food and serving family and friends their food. The next meal is already being planned before the ongoing meal is finished.
The sisters are freelance cookbook writers, food creators and food stylists. In 2000, they opened The Cookbook Café – a combined café and cookbook shop which they ran for 8 years. During that time, another dream came true when they had the opportunity to write their first own cookbook “Två systrars söta”. Since then, they have published 8 cookbooks, the most recent “From Scratch – recipes from marmalade and ketchup to kimchi and mozzarella” which won “Best Cookbook of the Year 2017” awarded by the Swedish Academy of Culinary Literature. They were also awarded the Swedish Gastronomic Society’s “Gold Pen 2019″. The same year they were voted Sweden’s “Best Food Blog”.
Systrarna (which obviously translates to Sisters) Eisenman love to inspire others with their broad variety of recipes – be it simple, super-advanced, different, not so different, new, old, festive, fine-dining to every-day comfort food. Their passion for cooking can be seen clearly in the recipes they created for The Soul of Breakfast.
